DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment using a carefully angled surgical 10 gauge scalpel to gently remove dead skin cells, vellus hair (also known as peach fuzz), excess oil and other debris on the surface of the skin for a smoother, more radiant complexion.

Pre-Treatment

The skin is gently cleansed to remove any impurities and make-up residue. An antiseptic is then used prior to treatment to ensure any remaining surface oils are wiped away.

Treatment

The top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) is gently scraped off with a dermaplane blade either using a dry method or with the 2-in-1 Moisturizing Lotion as a glider to soothe, protect and moisturise skin. This is followed by the Instant Painless Peel to gently exfoliate any blocked pores and remove any leftover residue, leaving skin feeling silky soft.

Post-Treatment

The CLINICCARE AHA+EGF Skin Booster can be applied to boost skin cell regeneration. A soothing, rejuvenating and moisturising facial sheet mask is then used, followed by the Sun Shield Cream (SPF30) for effective all day protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays.
